The app takes it's words from a list of common contemporary words and these in a clean and intuitive interface following. Works great on the latest as well as on older devices.
Get a word every day
Expect to learn one word a day. The words come from a list of contemporrary words that are in heavy use. So no exotic phrases, you are unlikely to ever encounter. And also not too simple one that you already know anyway.
Favorite words
You can create favorites to revisit the later on. You can always see a list of your favorites and change the status, if you know the word by heart.
Listen to words
All words come with the chance to listen to them so that you get the pronunciation right.
Put your daily word on the home screen
Add a widget to your homescreen to quickly see the current word.
Get notifications
With notifications you immediately see word of the day - if you choose to do so. You can listen to the word and favorite it right from the notification. Of course you can also configure to see them on your Android Wear device or to get them on the lockscreen (from Lollipop onwards). And if you don't want notifications, simply disable or customize them in the settings.

- Daily Word will be downloaded onto your device, displaying a progress. Once the download completes, the installation will start and you'll get a notification after the installation is finished.
